On December 29, 2017, our city held the 6th Mayor Quality Award review meeting.
The meeting reported on the city's 2017 Mayor Quality Award applications and expert review, and submitted to the review committee for approval two enterprises proposed for inclusion in the awards: Hunan Dijing Environmental Protection New Materials Co., Ltd. and Chenzhou Jinxing Construction Co., Ltd. It also put forward opinions and suggestions on how to encourage enterprises to participate more actively in the Mayor Quality Award evaluation in the future. All participating units, based on the expert review results and in accordance with their respective functions and relevant regulations, deliberated on the candidate units and put forward work suggestions. After collective deliberation, it was agreed in principle that the above two enterprises should be the winning units of the 2017 Chenzhou Mayor Quality Award. After public announcement in accordance with procedures, the matter was reported to the municipal government for official notification.
Making the city strong through quality is a strategic measure for the city and a fundamental project for promoting leapfrog development of the city's economy; focusing on quality construction is an important part of transforming the development model. Regarding further work on making the city strong through quality, the meeting proposed that awareness should be further raised and the organization of the Mayor Quality Award should be done carefully. Efforts should be made to organize meticulously, arrange carefully, increase mobilization, vigorously publicize the beneficial measure of the Mayor Quality Award throughout the city, encourage and guide outstanding enterprises to actively participate in the Mayor Quality Award evaluation, and continuously improve the overall strength and product competitiveness of enterprises in the city; further measures should be strengthened to deeply implement the strategy of making the city strong through quality. Closely focusing on the work priorities of the municipal party committee and municipal government, proceeding from actual conditions and emphasizing practical results, all work should be organically integrated with the construction of “Five Chenzhous”; coordination and cooperation should be strengthened to ensure the Mayor Quality Award work achieves practical results. Relevant departments should conduct research on aspects such as improving linkage, supporting the strong and excellent, and policy preference, continuously improve the evaluation system, ensure the sustainability of the Mayor Quality Award selection, and comprehensively raise the overall level of quality construction in our city.
